Happy October, Faculty

TMBC Faculty Newsletter – Issue 26

This newsletter continues to serve as your monthly one-stop-shop for important dates, updates and announcements.

THE HEADLINES

Two of our longtime faculty members have recently decided to culminate their journeys with TMBC, Joelle Prochera-Friedman and Chris Burley.  I wanted to share this news with all of you and invite you to join me in a moment of reflection and gratitude for each of them, acknowledging this doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of what they have each contributed to our clients and our team.  Joelle is one of the founding members of the TMBC faculty and has coached and mentor-coached so many of our clients.  She was also a key contributor of strengths coaching insights for digital content that reaches hundreds of thousands of people through the platform, like Coaching Intelligence and StandOut Tips.  Chris also played a key role in developing some of our StandOut programs, particularly the StandOut Team Leader virtual series and the tools to help leaders activate a Strengths Coach approach with their teams.  In addition, he worked closely with Erin Blodgett to build our Facilitation infrastructure and support resources.  We will miss Joelle and Chris and wish them all the best in their future endeavors!

Due to your quick response to the WorkMarket account set-up request we have now completed two monthly payment cycles via WorkMarket – Thank You!

Very soon we will be sending out the new Faculty Contracts via DocuSign with a communication highlighting what has changed. Please reach out to Betsey (betsey.snopel@tmbc.com) if you have any questions.

Our Burnout and Resilience Coaching Pilot concludes on October 17. After that, we will survey the participating Coachees for input regarding their experience and will hold a focus group call for the Coaches who participated to gather their insights as well.  Their collective input and reactions will help to inform any changes we make to the content and design of the program and we hope to be able to offer the final product to our platform clients by the end of this year.  Gratitude to all who have participated in this pilot

We’re providing not only a fresh look but an exciting new way to progress through course content directly on our StandOut Now site. You should still have access to everything you had before, but the look and feel are a bit different. We’re providing not only a fresh look but an exciting new way to progress through course content directly on our StandOut Now site. We’ve started with the StandOut Debrief Certification and StandOut Strengths Coaching programs, and will grow from there. Changes to the refreshed site will be viewable after October 19, 2022, and until then, here’s a brief overview video for you to view. Please reach out to Sue (sue.wolfe@tmbc.com) with any questions.

Inclusive Language Updates
We’ve audited our StandOut Assessment and the Assessment Report for new Assessment takers, with an eye specifically on the use of inclusive language.

We’re thrilled to see you for this year’s summit, which will be unlike any other.  Our theme is “Level Up, Dial In.”  We’ll be focused on sharing the content and model updates to our core programs–which will help us all continue to offer on-brand, up-leveled coaching and facilitation.  Join us as we share and practice updated strengths content, activities and tools of our core strength programs. Please be sure to reserve these two days on your calendar now. Calendar holds have been sent from standoutld@tmbc.com. Those who participate in both full days of the Summit will be ready to meet our growing client needs, and will be given priority in assignments. We look forward to being in community with you at this event.
