TMBC Faculty Newsletter – Issue 29

This newsletter continues to serve as your one-stop-shop for important dates, updates and announcements.

THE HEADLINES

You may have noticed that we have not scheduled any Faculty Connect sessions beyond today’s Facilitator Connect.  We will be sending out a survey to get your input on the best connection opportunities to maximize your faculty experience – based on the results of that survey, we will follow up with invitations thereafter.

Faculty Contract Updates
You should have received your countersigned Faculty Agreements from Betsey via email earlier this week.  You should have also received a new DocuSign request to sign an Amendment that outlines some adjusted/additional rates.  Those new rates became effective on December 1st and were used in the calculation of your December payment on January 5th.  Please reach out to Betsey directly at betsey.snopel@tmbc.com if you have any questions.

Milestone Connects are highly encouraged, quarterly, deep dive Check-Ins between a Team Member and their Team Leader to discuss performance wins and challenges of the previous quarter, alignment on expectations, and personal and career development. Milestone Connects used to be a downloadable PDF, but now StandOut offers functionality within the platform to help facilitate these discussions more easily. *Want to learn more? Two Milestone Connect notifications have been added to improve visibility into the Milestone Connect process:

  • When either the Team Member or Team Leader has completed the Milestone Connect reflection, the person who has not completed their portion will receive an in-platform notification indicating that their conversation partner has completed their portion.
  • When both the Team Member and Team Leader have completed the Milestone Connect reflection, they will both receive an in-platform notification and an email indicating that they are ready to have their Milestone Connect conversation.

During this months’ Facilitator Connect, we will be discussing where we are growing our facilitation rosters. If you are not able to attend, please listen to the recording to find out more. If you are interested in being considered for one of the open positions on the StandOut Debrief Certification Principal Facilitator roster, please complete the interest form by scanning the QR Code below or through this Survey Link.

REMINDER and UPDATES

Thank you again for all of you who attended our 2022 Faculty Summit in December. For those who received an email following the summit with instructions on how to be caught up with the sessions/days you missed, this is a friendly reminder that you have until January 31st to review the recording. Again, this is to ensure each of you have everything you need to deliver on-brand, up-leveled TMBC coaching and facilitation. Once complete, please email standoutld@tmbc.com
