ADP Sales Leader Development Program WON the GOLD in the Best Advance in Coaching and Mentoring category.

ADP is the proud recipient of an award for Brandon Hall for Best Advance in Coaching and Mentoring in 2022.

This spring, ADP’s Sales Leadership Development Team (SLDT) applied for this award based on the sales results and cultural impact made by redesigning their fundamental sales leader development program to help leaders optimally support sellers and clients in this new environment.  Based on TMBC and ADPRI research, the SLDT hypothesized that what employees need to thrive in the current world of work is attention, specifically coaching attention, from their direct leader.  The SLDT believed that adopting StandOut would help sales leaders sustain a culture where consistent strengths coaching attention and two-way dialogue between the sales leader and the seller would drive engagement and retention and result in a 7% lift in sales team performance among high adopters.  The actual result achieved was a lift in sales performance of 13%, nearly doubling expectations.

On August 18, Brandon Hall announced that ADP had won the GOLD award for Best Advance in Coaching and Mentoring. This awards program has a prestigious international following and is a great achievement for TMBC and StandOut. It has been called the “Academy Award” of the HCM field.

Shout-out to Anita Abjornson from ADP, along with TMBC’s Amy Powell, Chris Burley, Carolee Eubanks, Alex Green and Amy Leschke-Kahle for their amazing contributions to the award application process!

TMBC is continuing its journey to create inclusive spaces and conversations. In service of that, TMBC recently launched efforts to better equip our internal teams with inclusive language resources.  We are happy to share these resources with our Faculty. You can view a short video introducing the concept of inclusive language and a guide produced by ADP to support shifting language to be more inclusive. We encourage our Faculty to consider how you can weave this into your client interactions. For questions or support, you can contact Crystal at, crystal.simon@tmbc.com.
